Emerald Island Resort Florida, anyone??

Hi has anyone booked/ stayed at a villa in Emerald Island Resort Kissimmee? What was the villa like? TUI advertise it as ‘Emerald Island’ but after looking at small print they actually use a company called Ocean Florida for the villa bookings rather than private owners, the reviews are saying the villas are filthy and now am
getting quite worried.

We've stayed in two beautiful villas at Emerald Island. It is a beautiful resort. However, we booked directly with the owners via VRBO/HomeAway, and I spent weeks looking at reviews etc and finding the right ones. I don't knpw what Ocean Florida ones are like. Have you tried asking on The Dibb website? Also the facebook group Disney and Orlando for Brits.

Thank you, I’ve put something on the Orlando brits page and just waiting for it to be approved. Not heard of Dibb but will check now. Getting quite concerned with the things I’ve seen and kicking myself for not looking into it better at the time, but we were getting mixed messages for quite a few resorts and found it hard to chose.

We always use Tui and they didn’t have a rating for emerald islands on their website at the time, but we checked the emerald Facebook page and some tourist videos on YouTube and the reviews were good. We’ve checked other reviews on the web this evening and they’re just awful, green pools, stories of bed bugs etc.We’ve now found out that Tui use this company.
