If you’re going for long enough, I definitely recommend visiting Syros. The capital, Ermoupoli, where the ferry takes you to is beautiful.

I haven’t found there to be much sightseeing on Mykonos, but there are lots of great beach clubs.
We’ve enjoyed some nice days at Liasti beach club - book your loungers at the beach clubs in advance!

Syros looks beautiful - thank you.

A day trip to Delos. I'm really not a massive ancient history enthusiast, but found it a fascinating place.

I agree with what @countdowntonap says about Ermoupoli. The fast ferry from Mykonos to Syros only takes about 40 minutes.

You don't say where you're staying, but most places on the southwest of Mykonos are a short bus/taxi ride to the town, which is a great place to wander round, it's so photogenic. By the time you go it won't be as crowded - it's lovely out of peak season. If you've got a healthy budget there are some amazing restaurants (we are plebs, so sadly I don't know what any of the really amazing ones are like 😂). You can spend a LOT on a meal on Mykonos. Whatever you do though, avoid DK Oyster at Platys Gialos (Google it). They are notorious scammers.
