Would be grateful for any advice-this is one of those trips that has been postponed and I've kind of lost the enthusiasm for it any ideas?
Not sure if I want to go to Patagonia as where we live is snowy and cold

What is it you are interested in? Chile is a very interesting country of amazing scenery - but I meandered through in about 8 weeks, criss crossing into Argentina. Is this for a "holiday" or to "travel overland"?

Patagonia is cold! I like pointing to a map of the world and saying "I've been there" though.

If you are going to Chile try and tag on Rapa Nui too.

I liked the Atacama desert. Amazing star gazing at night.
