Give me ideas

We have always done uk holidays but now they are growing up a bit the kids are keen to go abroad. I have no idea where to start. We normally spend about £2500 all in for a week in Cornwall but could afford quite a bit more.
We are not campers, need at least a single bed per person due to older kids and us having bad backs! Also need to travel in school holidays. Not massively active but like the idea of seeing places like Paris and Rome.
can anyone give me any ideas of how to go about booking something, holiday companies or websites. What have you enjoyed with young teens?

My teens enjoy Eurocamp style sites. Marina di Venezia is one of our favourites and it’s so close to Venice.

Thanks for the suggestion, I think it would depend on the accommodation though as would want full sized single beds which I know not all static vans have.

The Greek Islands? Lovely clear water, snorkeling, Sandy beaches, good food.

We loved booking a gite with pool in France. Used to use owners direct but now I think it's VRBO. There's so much to see in France, beautiful food, lovely wine, great roads.

Agree re south of france villas so fun we've stayed in lots but young people liked Cassis, Bandol and (spain) nerja and begur

Look at the thread about holidays in the Alps >

Plenty of good ideas there about France, Italy and Austria. A budget of £2,500 will be more than enough for a good week - maybe even two.
