Summer holiday ideas for 2023

DH and I are keen to book our holiday next year with our two DS before the end of this year but we're at a loss for where to go.

DS1 will be 3yo and DS2 will be 18 months. This year we visited Kos in Greece which was nice but we were contained to our all inclusive resort and didn't get out much.

I know it's super early but planning ahead so we can budget to get away at least once next year 🤞 so I'm interested to see where other people are thinking for their holiday next year!

Following also! Although we did a villa this year and would like to try all inclusive next year. Budget of around £4k and open to anywhere with a 4 hour ish flight from the North.

Spain looked the cheapest from European destinations for AI packages with a great pool with slides (my daughter's biggest requirement)

We are looking for somewhere with villas or bungalows with 3 bedrooms all.inclusive. I don't want to have 2 separate rooms in a hotel. It's proving challenging

Which hotel did you stay at in Kos ?

Were looking for very similar - but only 2 bedrooms. We went to Cyprus a few years ago - Aliathon with First Choice. It was amazing.

We stayed at the Atlantica Beach Hotel. All inclusive so it was great for our two DS but the food got a bit repetitive towards the end of the week - but aware that's always a risk with AI. They had great kids entertainment throughout the day and a play park, but couldn't really use it in the heat. Beach was on the resort also which was nice, and there's a baby pool but not much else for babies/toddlers.

Right? And so expensive!

You can escape the UK winter here and spend a month in Egypt, apparently it’s cheaper than spending a month here ;
