Looking to book a family villa for July next year, I've looked at Airbnb, Vrbo, TripAdvisor and I'm struggling to find what I'm after. Has anyone got any good sites for me to search on?.

No nonstop flights to bordeaux or bergerac to different airports.

Found a lovely place in Bergerac but no flights to get there, can't find any 10 day flights to bordeaux either.

You can fly to Limoges from Leeds-Bradford during the summer - might be worth a look?

Is it not just too early to book flights for 2023 yet?

Maybe, but I can't book accommodation until I know there are flights.

At least with James Villas it is worth giving them a call. When I booked our holiday the villa we used wasn't on their website. Villa owners may not yet have finally confirmed their full season availability for 2023. They may be willing to confirm individual bookings.

As another possibility some Villas are located on the same site. Would you consider two 3/4 bedroom villas if they were neighbouring? Again worth a conversation with a human.

As PPs have highlighted, normal booking is Saturday to Saturday. Would you consider a Friday night in your destination airport hotel? Then have a leisurely journey to your holiday home on the Saturday. I am assuming hire cars involved so you could do some shopping on the way.

You could fly to Carcassonne from Manchester or Edinburgh if those are of interest. Carcassonne Airport is about the size of a bus stop.

Have a look at Gites.com we have a house in France we rent out and the commission is much lower on there than VRBO and Airbnb (which we also use) so can offer a lower rate.
