Oct half term UK ideas

can anyone recommend ideas for Oct half term for myself and DD 12? We are close to London so prob 2-3hrs drive max thanks

Center Parcs? It’s lovely at that time of year - crisp autumnal walks in the forest and not too hot for bike rides and activities.

Depends on your and your DD's interest. For DD Centre Parcs would be a punishment but she would love a city break.

We did York in October one year, small sc flat where we did breakfast, walking around the city and one day visit to Castle Howard.

It may be a bit longer than 2-3 hours but worth it.

Forest of Dean if you like being outside. Sculpture trail, hire bikes, visit the Wye Valley. Day out in Cardiff?
