Car hire in Lanzarote- 22 year old driver?

Hi, can I ask anyone who may know about car hire?
Travelling soon with my 22 year old DD.
I will hire the car in my name- I know it can be tricky if under 25 ( which I am not), but would like to add my DD and insure as an additional driver.
Will that be possible?

I don't think you can but I may be wrong. The bus service around the island is very good though.

Some companies will allow it for an additional charge, others won't. It's worth doing some quotes online for you and then looking at the detail which comes up about additional drivers and drivers under 25.

I would recommend Auto Riesen at Lanzarote airport, we have hire a few times from them. Don’t touch Gold Car.
