Am travlling with my 6 month old and want to take my bugaboo cameleon. Am flying with BA and hoping they will let me take it. Once at the gate will they accept a 2 part pram or do I have to put it in a bag, strap it together etc. any advice please!

at check in get a luggage tag for pram chassis and bugaboo travel bag (in case they get separated) wheel pram to gate, fold it, pop in travel bag. staff put it in hold for you and you collect at baggage reclamation

easy peasy

Not sure if you'll still be checking this thread, but thought I'd reply anyway! I fly quite a bit with my bugaboo, and they take it on board no problem. Make sure both parts are tagged when you check in, then at the aircraft they will take it from you, and either give it back at the aircraft door when you land, or they may send it along to baggage reclaim. Be prepared for this - last time I flew I went carrying loads of stuff that I could put on handle bars of my buggy, but then had to carry it to baggage reclaim myself, along with a rather heavy little boy!

Good luck!
