Recommendations please

Hi all, looking to take DS for his first holiday abroad in May next year. He will be 2yrs and 2months.
We would obviously want somewhere sunny, a short flight and a family friendly resort.
I'm thinking Spain?

I've been looking online and there's a new I like the look of in Alcudia at the moment (never been)

Could anyone make any recommendations please, suitable for 2yo

Pools might be cold in May.

Majorca is very nice and family friendly, but I agree the pools might be a bit chilly. Cala D'or is really lovely though.

The kids pool at Royal Son Bou (one of the most family friendly hotels ever, imo!) is solar heated so as long as you get sun light (almost guaranteed in May) it will be ok.

In May, id look for places either really south, or specify the pool is heated.

Ah I hadn't thought about that, thanks for the pool tips people! I just didn't want to go in the peak of it being hot either so thought May would be just right

I've done Menorca mid May to late May, big pools are chilly when you get in (warmer once you've been in for a bit) but toddler pools are much shallower so those would be fine. The sea is also pretty good temperature wise if you stay in the shallower bits, lots of nice shelving beaches in Menorca and it's a very quiet family friendly island.

Have only even heard of Alcudia this year, and heard about it a lot, but Was reading a thread the other day and people saying it is horrid. When DS was almost 2 we went to Greece and agree it was a bit chilly!
