Evening outings in Tenerife (Costa Adeje)

Currently on holiday in Costa Adeje. It’s lovely but need a bit of change of scenery.

Hotel is all inclusive and there is nothing round here that’s walkable. What we would like is an evening trip to a local town where there are shops open and some nice restaurants. Happy to go by taxi.

Any suggestions please?

El Horno de neptuno in Adeje is an amazing tapas restaurant, but need to book (call them)

You can go to Playa de Americas in a taxi & that is really lively with loads of restaurants & bars x

Get a taxi to Plaza del Duque. Shops are open until 9.30 ish and there are lots of restaurants if you walk along the beach.

We loved Kai la Caleta in Caleta. Try to get there at sunset as it is beautiful looking at the sun setting. Also White Tapas in Playa del Duque was amazing

Taxi to the Safari Centre, loads of really good restaurants, great shops if that’s your thing, and the dancing fountains

Yes lots of shops. We stayed at the GF Gran and it's such a quiet area we ended up walking into Adeje a few times as there was more going on.

I would also recommend Bar Fresh for cocktails, it's not too lively but great drinks and calm etc

Taxi to La Caleta which is a much more traditional style village about a mile from Costa Adeje. They have a number of good seafood restaurants- just book at one.
