Large family get together summer 2023

Hi, my extended family is planning a get together sometime next summer. There will be 6 different families meeting up with kids of various ages but majority in the 16 -20 age group. We are unsure whether we should go AI or find a resort with SC apts or villas. Budget is a consideration. Ideally each family will have their own separate accommodation but 2 might join together if suits in terms of properties etc.
Must haves are good pool, walking distance to beach with watersports, walking distance to selection of restaurants.
Nice to have would be decent cycling & walking routes, near a nice town, marina or similar.
Ideally no more than 1 hour transfer from airport. Not overly fussed on which country, Portugal or Spain prob easiest for majority to travel to.

Marina rubicon, Playa blanca ticks all those boxes. Try dreams or princess Yaiza for AI or lanzarote villas

If budget is an issue I would suggest looking at pierre et vacances (French company but have Spanish resorts too) most have villas/apartments which are self catering but you can upgrade to b&b, hb or ai depending on resort. Seem a bit cheaper than the main British operators. I would certainly consider france for that age group, I loved the La Rochelle area when I was that age. I stayed in a beach side site at la tranche sur mer and have since taken my children back - that one is a different company think mobile homes but was reasonable

Christina studios at Paleokastritsa in Corfu. We did a big family holiday there, they are fairly basic one studios around a courtyard and really cheap but clean and comfortable and well located. Transfer from airport is less than an hour on the local bus. It worked really well for us.
