Luggage recommendations

I travel a lot for work, certainly every second week. And we're starting to travel and take holidays as a family again (DH and two DC) but my luggage is shabby, squeaky-wheeled and with threads going in one instance. I'd love to invest in a nice new luggage set - light, strong, smart - with a cabin bag for work trips and a bigger case(s) for family hols. But I realise I have never 'purposely' bought luggage before! It's always been a last-minute bargain-in-TKMaxx sale or given by a family member. What is a nice, smart brand that will be practical and last?

I have the Roncato Modo Starlight 2.0 full set of suitcases and rate it highly. The cabin case is a bit narrower than average but it’s made of rubber so can expand, and the quality is great. It doesn’t have a lateral handle - although I don’t miss it at all. They’re super light. The back wheels (they’re all double and rotate 360 on any surface) gave in after 3 years - but I take 50-60 flights a year and do wheel it a lot as I almost never use taxis. I found a supplier that sold the wheels so just bought a new pair for £25 odd instead of replacing the suitcase. It’s still going strong. No wear and tear on the big hold ones but I use them slightly less than my cabin bag.

Thanks! I’ll check it out.
