Hi, can anyone advise? DS is booked to fly to Spain 3rd Sep and only had his second jab yesterday so bang on 14 days prior to travel - will this be acceptable or should he do the PCR fit to travel test also?

They are so strict, it is ridiculous.

Do the two.

You can do a fit to fly lateral flow test at a pharmacy. It’s only £30 and could be the thing that stops you being turned away at the airport! Did it for one of my DCs and was very glad I did as we were picked for a spot check of our certificates at the airport.

Thank you both - I will get him to do the additional test.

£30 is a fortune! There is a great FB page that recommends a much cheaper test.

Look at livingcare.co.uk. I recently got 2 antigen tests for Spain for around £12 for both.

Fit to fly Antigen test from Qured online. £9.95
