Child friendly but upmarket holiday resorts

Please can anyone recommend somewhere for May half term next year. We have one 5 year old child, so looking for somewhere with a kids club/nursery, child friendly, pools etc, but also a little but upmarket, so as to avoid 'crowds' and big groups. We stayed at a Sensatori once, which was perfect, but maybe a little out of our current budget. I've heard holiday Villages are good? Does anyone have any recommendations? We like Greece, but anywhere in Europe would be fine!

Azia Resort and Columbia Beach Resort in Cyprus

The Zafiro Palace resorts in Majorca, there's one in Alcudia and one in Palmanova. Really family friendly but luxurious at the same time.

IKOS hotels are fabulous. Lots in Greece, one in Spain and one opening on Majorca next year.

I second Columbia Resort, Pissouri, Cyprus and Aphrodite Hills resort in Cyprus for child friendly, nice resorts. Aphrodite Hills has a gorgeous spa and tennis courts, kids club, play park and pools.

Looking for holiday destinations spain/canaries/balerics and hotel recommendations. Wanting all inclusive and must have playground or soft play and entertainment for 1.5 year old (no need for creche) and needs to be close to bars or restaurants that are stroller friendly.

Another vote for Cyprus - atlantica mare village is great for kids but also great for adults

Porto Sani. Hands down.

We like Club Med. I'd recommend Da Balaia their resort in Portugal which is just above a lovely beach.

Princess Yaiza hotel in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote is lovely with young children. Excellent facilities, great weather in May and Playa Blanca itself is a very nice town.

The IKOS hotels are really amazing. There’s a few now so might be worth a look to see if there are any good offers on.

GF victoria tenerife costa adeje. Got a water park and kids club not too tacky. Loads of activities for older dc as well. Not AI but loads of restaurants nearby.

Look at TotsToo website, this is their specialty. Has many of the above listed hotels and more.

I also would recommend Columbia Beach in Cyprus, it’s a lovely relaxed resort. However, the family pool is not heated and it was cold in October, suspect would also be cold in May. If we went to Cyprus again I would consider the Almyra which has a heated pool and I think possibly a better kids club (based on reviews).

Completely different idea, take a look at Bella Mare in Corfu (via Simpson Travel). It’s a small hotel with only 32 rooms and a low key kids club for age 5-11 only. It’s not super luxury - comfortable but not luxury - but it has the hotel benefits of kids club and breakfast etc without that big hotel busyness.
