Universal credit going on holiday

Hi

I'm off on holiday soon, i've been actively seeking employment on Universal credit, but I'm a little confused about my commitments to DWP. My work coach told me that she needs to authorise my holiday and asked me if I will be performing any job seeking tasks while on holiday.

This seems a little strange to me that I need to continue working while on holiday, does anyone know the policy about this? As far as I know I am allowed 30 days holidays.

thanks

I think your supposed to stick to your commitments whilst on holiday. Just say you plan on seeking work. Ping a cv off every two days on indeed. Keep confirmation email as evidence in case anyone checks. It’s a five minute job max.

I work full time and claim UC so my commitments are check journal when sent an email to do so.
