has anyone been to majorca recently and if so can you advise what you are required to present in relation to covid vaccine status? With thanks 😊

Vaccine certificate if two doses + booster, or two doses with your last one being less than 270 days ago.

Or a negative PCR taken less than 72h before arrival, or a negative antigen taken less than 24h before.

I believe a certificate of recovery is also accepted (less than 6 months old and must be an official one).

Waved the nhs app at someone who scanned it on the way to baggage reclaim. Just have it ready and open and should be pretty easy

Hope you enjoy your holiday

Covid pass either on phone app or printed version.

Leggingslife · 16/08/2022 20:13

I'm here now. I used the NHS app to download (screenshot) the certificate before leaving the UK. It was checked when we landed.

Paddingtonthebear · 16/08/2022 20:16

Covid pass on phone (nhs app), they specifically asked for proof of the booster, weren't interested in the others

PoxyAndIKnowIt · 16/08/2022 20:19

Yep, I got back 3 days ago (and now have COVID!) and all the above is correct, but additionally any unvaxed people or children may also need to fill out the Spanish health form online, which then gives you a another barcode to show, along with your negative test.

nicknamehelp · 16/08/2022 20:25

Not checked once by anyone

Not checked once by anyone

I think that’s often the case but you couldn’t rely on it: we were checked (at nearly midnight) and others on this thread have said they were, too.

GrandSlamFinalee · 16/08/2022 20:32

They do spot checks nowadays. 90% of passengers won’t be checked, but you don’t want to arrive there and not have the required docs.

fuckboris · 16/08/2022 20:38

Spot check here too, we weren't picked so can't advise on what docs they were checking

BettyUnderswoob · 16/08/2022 21:12

They checked everyone’s on my flight just 1.5 weeks ago, not just a spot check.

Watapalava · 17/08/2022 13:18

Been Spain twice on last 2 months and no been checked

Paddingtonthebear · 17/08/2022 13:50

Flew to Majorca 10 days ago and they checked everyone on our flight

Hillsidehigh · 17/08/2022 13:54

Checked everyone on ours, scanned the nhs app.

Eon · 17/08/2022 13:57

They never even checked ours or anyone that was on our flight. They just let everyone through

CeeceeBloomingdale · 17/08/2022 21:22

In Majorca at the moment, the whole flight was checked. It was much quicker with a paper copy than with the app (we have the app but also sent off for a printed letter as don't have a printer).

Leggingslife · 17/08/2022 21:53

Arrived 5 days ago and whole flight was checked. Kids not.
