Free holiday activities for kids

Hi mums, as more families begin to look for free, fun holiday activities to do with the kids I thought I'd start a thread for anyone who wanted to post / recommend anything fun and FREE to keep their kiddos entertained this summer. I am an art teacher myself and I wanted to start off by sharing a link to my own free art tutorials for young artists below.

In London -

museums:

V&A Museum of Childhood - museum of kids' toys with loads of activities and toys for kids to play with;

Natural History Museum - the basement has a whole room full of stuff for kids to touch and do;

Science Museum - loads of interactive stuff for kids;

RAF Museum - amazing for kids, loads of interactive stuff for them to do plus rides;

Transport Museum;

Bruce Castle - free museum and super fun free arts&crafts drop in sessions (I believe on Sunday afternoons) for kids
