What to do for a couple of days in/near Vancouver?

I have a couple of days at the beginning of my holiday before meeting up with friends. Looking for suggestions for things to do/see. I've been to Vancouver a couple of times previously so have done things like Stanley Park, Capilano, a trip to Squamish, whale watching, seaplane etc. Will have a vehicle so don't mind travelling for an hour or so.

All suggestions appreciated

Interested in this too.

I would drive down the coast to Steveston, the fictional Storybrooke in Once Upon a Time, as well as location for many other programs and films. I had a fabulous day there, not to mention great seafood right on the harbour.

Grouse mountain?

Thanks @Giggorata - I've never heard of once upon a time but that area looks interesting.

Grouse mountain?

My DS highly recommended this place to me, he hiked up and got the skyride down. I'll be getting the skyride up and down.

Do you enjoy shopping?. I could easily waste away a day looking around the beautiful shops in Yale town, then on to Kitsilano & take a dip in the seafront outdoor pool. Granville Island is always good for a mooch & some lunch at the public market.

Go the aquarium, it's amazing and by far the best one I've been to. Especially good for a rainy day.

We spent a glorious day in the sunshine on Grouse Mountain. Did the zip line thing too which was fab.

The weather forecast is looking promising so prob not going to do any indoor activities. A swim in the pool at Kitsilano is already on the list. Shopping is not a leisure activity for me.
