Swimsuit for 4 month old - Greece

Hi,

We’re heading to Thassos at the end of the month, it’s a Greek Island in the North Aegean Sea.

I have a normal baby wetsuit for my LO but was wondering if it would also be worth getting a warm in one. A few mums I know have said that maybe the pool and sea will be too cold for LO to swim in but I desperately want to get him in the water if I can.

Is it worth getting a warm in one? Atm it’s about 30•c on the island and the sea temperature will be around 26•c.

Thanks 😊

Those temperatures sound lovely and warm. I think he would be more likely to hate being put in a warm in one in 30 degree heat, than get too cold without it in the water. Normal baby wetsuit will be fine IMO.

They do get cold more quickly than adults so best to to have several short ish dips and warm up in between than stay in for a long time.

@minipie thanks for your response! I had the same thoughts around the temperature and warm in one too, it would only really be used to dip in and out of the water. Hopefully the baby pool will be a pleasant temperature for him!
