Apologies if this thread has been started before but I had a skim and couldn’t see any.
Has anybody recently (2022) taken a flight with Turkish Airlines and not had a middle name declared when booking?
When booking it a while ago I am confident I can swear that it only asked me for first name and last name and that was the reason I did not put middle names. I did a quick google search and came to the conclusion middle names aren’t needed.
Earlier today I was booking somebody else to join our trip, and it was asking for the first name and middle name. Naturally I’ve been worried sick all evening as There have been 4 flights booked without the middle name (British passport so appears in the given name section’ ).
There are threads on the internet but they are either
a. a few years old at least
b. Mixed reviews. Some saying absolutely no issue, others saying Turkish Airlines said they’d have to cancel and rebook.
therefore, really hoping someone can come along with some advice! Thanks
