Airbnb - host used photo of different property

We in Croatia Airbnb and when we arrived realised host had used a photo of a different property to advertise. The different photo showed an open plan kitchen diner. What we have is a galley kitchen so small if u open a cupboard or the oven the door is 2inches from the wall. There are no sockets so the kettle is on the floor in the outside the bedroom. A washer was referred to and we assumed a washing machine. But none here. The galley kitchen photo was shown but we assumed in addition to the open plan, as we initially had no idea this was of a different property.

Contacted Airbnb straightaway they offered us £15.88 refund. Anyone else dealt with similar?

We still here and have asked host not to be paid till resolved. Not sure if possible?

Bogus photo still on site. Airbnb didn't seem to challenge.

Is complaint only option?

This is usually because they have several different properties to let out (v sneaky)

Don't let it drop with air bnb. We got a 50% refund on a property we weren't happy with (heating wasn't working).

Thanks, that's what I needed to hear.

@hellcatspangle did take a while to sort? Been 2 weeks and we now home and not sorted. Can't tell whether to escalate to a complaint?

No, air bnb sorted it very quickly while we were still staying there. I would definitely escalate now.
