Am interested in doing this and thought that TUI did these but cannot find anything.

There are some other companies but seem very expensive.

Anyone care to share their experiences or links to companies that don't charge £4k for a week

Hello. Afraid I can't help with up to date recommendations on current companies but I have done 2 gulet holidays (2008 & 2014) and would go again at the drop of a hat - so much fun. I think the prices have gone up quite a bit as we did the one in 2014 last minute and it was £800 per person, although we also opted for the alcohol package so I think paid another £150 when we arrived. First holiday was from Bodrum but we also visited Marmaris and Cleopatra's island, the second trip started in Kas and ended in Fethiye. Fethiye was amazing. As long as you are happy chilling out, swimming from the boat and don't mind chatting to/sharing all your meals with everyone else on board or creating your own entertainment, then hopefully you will enjoy it. Most nights we anchored somewhere in a bay so very few opportunities to go ashore if that's what you are after. The first trip we did in May and it was very quiet - just 6 passengers plus the 3 crew. The second trip was August which was a bigger boat, about 20 passengers and 3 crew. May was beautiful weather, August was too but really hot. Most people ended up sleeping on deck at night as the cabins weren't air conditioned as advertised. We took loads of batteries and two battery powered fans for the cabin so slept in our cabin every night. The food on both trips was amazing and I was always impressed at the meals the chef rustled up. A couple of the blokes on board were a bit non plussed at the lack of meat/chips available as there were quite a lot of salads and veggie food. Worked for us! I hope to go again in the next few years. Have a great trip if you do go!

P s. The company we went with in 2014 was Anatolian Sky which went bust. A quick Google suggests that the MD set up a new company after this called Diamond Star holidays which offers similar. In fact the boat we went on Seyhan Cann still seems to be there! Looks like prices are from £1098 per person for a week including flights and all meals.

I did a Gulet cruise too and it was amazing, one of my best holidays ever.
