Looking for suggestions of where to go next summer with my dp and our children who will be age between 17-22. They want sun, beach, cocktails, probably a water park and definitely no culture. We want affordable!

Cyprotel Faleraki in Rhodes! It has a waterpark with slides, different pools, great food and Rhodes is AMAZING

Definitely have a look at Istria Premium Camping Resort. It ticks every box and you can even get packages which include buffet breakfast and dinner.

definitely no culture
🤣

That’s what they want. What do you want?

nex18 · 13/08/2022 11:25

Thanks, I’ll have a look at those suggestions.
I just want to not think about work, not do any cleaning and for everyone to be happy. As well as affordable.

Lots of places in Turkey on package holiday sites will likely fit this description!

Lots have water slides, most are AI, most near or on a beach that also have water sports.

And ages of your children chances are you can go out of term time so it'll be even cheaper!

itsgettingweird · 13/08/2022 11:56

Oh btw I've never been to turkey and it doesn't appeal to me!

But when I was looking at on the beach and jet2 etc the cheapest holidays were often Turkey AI in resorts with huge pools!

Sounds perfect. Exactly what I’d want too.

l would highly recomend Crystal Springs Hotel in Cyprus, has excellent reviews and rightly so. l went there last month with my sons , 17 and 21, hotel is literally on small beach, lovely safe bay for swimming and snorkling, 20 min to water park, plus boat cruises etc, we hired a car as resort is very quiet, to get around to see rest of island. The gardens there are absoluely beautiful, lots of comfy shaded seating and sunlounging spaces over looking the sea. l read and relaxed whilst sons went scuba diving etc, very peaceful and no cooking or cleaning. Lots of beaches and towns close by some busy, some quiet, bus stop outside hotel. We went with Jet2.

Moonface I think you recommended too much, Crystal Springs is fully booked next summer!
The camping resort is an interesting suggestion as not something I had considered.
I’m going to find and price up some different options and then then the others can choose from my choices.
