New York theatre tickets

We have gone wild and booked for the 4 of us to head to New York in October squeee. Looking at seeing the The play that goes wrong at the new world stage, any tips? Where’s the best place to get tickets. Book before we go or wait till we get there?

We booked to see The Cursed Child before we went after following the play on some of the last minute ticket apps, to get an idea of they ever became reduced and what last minute availability was like.

It can be worth downloading the Tix apps and having a look every so often to see if they ever come up, what price and what availability is like.

Dd used the apps in London a fair bit earlier this year, it they tended to work best if you were more flexible about which shows you'd be happy to see, and when you'd be able to see them. Also depends on how many of you are - 1 or 2 people fine, more it gets trickier.
