Ferry through Eurocamp

We're off to France and have booked the ferry via Eurocamp although we are not staying at their site until the end of the holiday. Do we need anything to get on the ferry such as a booking number?? I can't see anything on either the Eurocamp or Brittany Ferries sites..
Is it all just done by car registration these days? Haven't taken ferry for about 5 years and can't even remember what we did then.
Can anyone help a newbie Eurocamper out??

Sorry, this may be of limited help, as it's neither Eurocamp nor Brittany ferry, but we have just been to France on the P&O ferry and didn't have to show anything except our passports. They didn't ask for any proof of booking. I think they do it by car registration number and name.

We’re doing Eurotunnel via Eurocamp rather than ferry. When I look on the holiday itinerary and the booking letter thing on my area of the website I can see a booking ref number for the tunnel and when I got sent through the final information a few days ago there’s a link to a eurotunnel website where I have to enter the advance passenger information before we go. There’s no actual ticket or anything though it’s just number plate recognition, but it may be completely different for the ferry!

You need a booking number to enter the API (advanced passenger info) which is a prerequisite to entering France. Rest is done on ANPR when you arrive at the port, but yes you need your booking number then enter it here www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/information/faqs/booking-information/what-you-need-to-know-about-advance-passenger-information-api?error=login_required&state=b361d2f6-08a1-4a7e-8380-0c78384993e2

Thanks all, appreciate the replies. Ill check the eurocamp booking again a day or two before we leave to see if anything is there. Think the API was scrapped Aug 1?

No the passenger locator forms have been scrapped but you definitely still need to provide API.

As@2catsand2kids said the API is still in place, this has been in place for about 5/6 years so you do need to enter this info before you go to france
