Portugal or Turkey with baby??

Hallo

In September we would like to go on holiday to either Portugal or Turkey with our baby who will be 10/11 months then.

Does anyone have any recommendations for baby-friendly resorts/hotels/locations in either of these places?

Well it was years ago but when ds was 1 we went (in September) to Monte Santo resort in portugal and it was lovely. Weather lovely not too hot and plenty or other babies about.

So I would go self catering. An apartment or villa.

Turkey - Gocek is 30 mins from Dalaman airport. Kalkan is circa 2 hours but taxis are cheap. Both lovely quiet resorts

Will be cooler September. Food is great for kids if you like them eating healthy stuff....mine loved the Turkish food such as salads etc

I would choose Portugal with a baby just for the nice short flight

Portugal as flight shorter and temperature cooler. Turkey will be very hot in September

I'd go for Portugal given the shorter flight too and hope others have good suggestions for where to stay.

The Martinhal hotels linked above are great - there is also one in Cascais.

I love Cascais and often go with my kids, it's easy to get about on foot or by taxi/Uber and only 40 mins from Lisbon airport.

I've also stayed at the Pestana, Eurostars, and in a mini house at the Quinta da Marinha resort.

Beaches near town are nice enough but not spectacular but Guincho, which really is beautiful can get a bit windy.

These are wonderful thank you - I will sit and go through each suggestion carefully with DP.

I think Portugal sounds better in this instance too.
