Oct half term recommendations

Any resort/hotel recommendations for week in the Sun over Oct half term?

I just had to cancel my summer hol (originally booked for 2020) and really need an escape.

Me and 14 year old DD. I would like beach, pool, max budget £3k. I don’t want freezing cold pools! Not bothered if not AI but might be easier. Was thinking Hurgada but reading threads on teens feeling uncomfortable (and also risk of terrorism) am thinking maybe not. Turkey?? Or any recs for Gran Canaria (ok flight I’ve found).

I’ve read so many reviews and done so many searches I’ve lost the will!

We are in Turkey now staying at Liberty Fabay In Fethiye.
Lovely hotel and rooms and great food and drink.
We are coming back in October as the main pool is heated then.
