Can anyone recommend a good hotel in Crete please, pref the Hersonissos area...
Looking for a hotel with a good pool area for kids, splash pool and slides etc if possible, but also walking distance to the beach, and with lots of restaurants and bars also walking distance to eat and drink out of the hotel in the evenings.
We will be going at the beginning of October.
Also, please let me know if Hersonissos is not the best area anymore, my mum and dad recommended it from when they went back in the day, not sure if it's still the best liveliest area for families nowadays?!
