Cancun in March

Just booked ten days in Cancun end of March / April. We're a family of five and never been anywhere like this before. So excited!

Anyone been before and have suggestions of things to do?

www.xcaret.com
Tulum
Chichen Itza

I love Xcaret and Xelha - they're pricey but brilliant. Chichen Itza is just breathtaking the first time you see it, the scale of it is so impressive (and there's a lot more to see at the site too!). There are numerous wonderful cenotes you can visit which are really cool. You should be there before the sargassum hits which is really good news, be careful with alcohol though - there have been deaths linked to tainted alcohol even at luxury resorts.

We stayed in Cancun for a few days for the sole purpose of seeing Tulum & Chichen Itza.
To be honest, we didn't find much else to do there
