Anyone in Crete ATM - is it stupidly gale like where you are?

Anyone else in Crete ATM? We are in the South and have had to retreat indoors for a fair bit as it is so windy today (literally thought it had torn pages put of my book due to force). Just wondering how it is where you are. We are in the middle of nowhere ( car to get anywhere) and not much fun stuck inside! Hoping tomorrow is better. If better elsewhere we may have to travel further for the day.

Thanks, I did Google that yesterday @TwoMonthsOff , never heard of it before and guessing our previous sept Crete trip pre kids was not affected due to timing. Just wondering if it is better anywhere else on the island. Meant to be better in South but that is where we are. I literally struggled hanging out towels ten mins ago. V annoying as long awaited pre c19 trip! No more Greek islands in Aug. I suspect next year will be UK anyway.
