Anyone been through Bordeaux airport recently?

Hi travelling to Bordeaux 17-24 August. Just wondering if anyone has been through the airport recently and if so what it's like in terms of queuing for bag drops, time for collecting bags etc? I have forked over €90 to Ryanair for checked bags for the 3 of us which I am loath to waste but I am seriously considering seeing if we can manage hand luggage only as have had awful experiences with collecting luggage at other airports recently. Our accommodation has a washing machine...

Yes I have been recently. It was absolutely fine for easy jet but a few queues for Ryan air bag drop I noticed so I maybe would leave a little extra time if flying Ryan air from the airport. Usually I never notice queues but I did this time.
As for collecting baggage it was not a problem at all for us, no wait at all.

Absolutely fine - no queues at passport control or check in.

BUT if you’re ‘Hall A’ the air con isn’t working, so it was very warm! It was 41 degrees the day we were there though.
