In which order: Spain

We haven’t been abroad for a while due to Covid and other personal issues and have a chance to go away for a week at the end of August. I’ve found suitable holiday in Spain (Mallorca) but completely confused in what order should I : book holiday, buy insurance, reserve seats on the plane, book assistance at the airport for DD, get Covid Pass. Please help.

The minute you start spending money you need insurance. I buy mine immediately after booking the holiday. I reserve seats on the plane during the booking process, but if it's within a moth of travel you might be able to check in online straight after booking and get seats then. There may be limited choice though so you may need to pay to change them. You can book assistance as soon as you book the holiday with most companies although some contact you closer to the flight time. It's best to do it straight away, late booking can mean you wait longer at the airport. Covid passes are now valid for 6 months so you can request one now. Essentially these things all need doing pretty much together as the holiday is soon. Book it first then do the rest straight after.

Thank you @CeeceeBloomingdale I wasn’t a booking expert before but now it’s even worse 🙂 Choosing seats turned out the most difficult task - everything is booked already .

Currently in mallorca and it's beautiful.
We booked the flights then insurance. We couldn't book seats till check in opened. Covid passed I printed the week before. They did check them a palma so have them ready.
