Hi,

Travelling in 4 weeks.

Looking for recommendations on places to eat in the evening/lunch and entertainment? Sight seeing etc?

Me and DP early 30s with a 5 month old DD!

Thanks in advance 😃

Are you going to have a car? It will be very hot during the day so unless your baby is used to that, I would only do short outings by car

There are places to eat all along the beach and in the plaza with the station. I just wandered along until something took my fancy. Really easy to get to Malaga by train, elsewhere a bit trickier.

If you are into hiking, you could try doing "caminito del rey". It's about 5 miles and the views are beautiful.

Won't be hiring a car unfortunately (lessons being done atm) so everything will be public transport! The plan was go out in the mornings and keep her by the pool during the hotter hours. Xxx

That sounds bliss and we do love hiking. However not in the heat with our 5M old! Thanks for the recommendation xx

The train goes from Malaga to Fuengirola so you could go to www.plazamayor.es/en/ which is a couple of stops before Malaga. Benalmadena is on the train line and again worth a visit - you could walk there via the seafront promenade called Carihuela depending on where you are staying in Torremolinos. It is a lovely walk full of shops and restaurants and a breeze from the sea. Benalmadena has Paloma Park, Sealife Centre and Selwo Park and a Cable Car (- www.andalucia.com/benalmadena/arroyo/la-paloma-park - that website has lots of info.
Fuengirola has a zoo if you are interested.
Market day in Fuengirola is Tuesday, Torremolinos is Thursday and Benalmadena on Friday - all near the train stations.
Enjoy your holiday, a brilliant choice.

La Bodega has recently been recommended by The Hairy Bikers for tapas.
