I've never flown from Manchester before and looking for recommendations for parking for a week. Any better than others or are they just all sort of the same?

Search for discounts on Purple Parking. They're pretty much all the same but I like the meet and greet - just drive up and drop your keys - done

Topsy1976 · 30/07/2022 12:50

We used drop and go and it was v easy indeed

Make sure you only use one of the official car parks. (Many horror stories online about unofficial ones.)

I've always just used the cheapest one, one of the JetParks, with a bus to the terminal.

TomAllenWife · 30/07/2022 12:57

I rarely use official

Look at:
Holiday extras
Purple parking
Looking4parking
Parking4u
Sky park secure

I tend to use meet & greet, I hate having to get a shuttle bus to the car park such a ball ache after a long journey

we use the drop’n’go , booking with Manchester airport site directly.
‘hello-man’ got me 10% off when I booked on Wednesday.

its brand new multi storey car park , clean, well lit with a simple system to check in your car keys.

Thanks everyone. We land at 1am on the way home, would that be an issue at all or does it not matter?

I recently parked at the multi-storey for a departure from T3.

Top floor (no roof/outside) had lots of spaces and I parked right next to the door that takes you to the lift to get to departures.

Was very easy and didn’t need a shuttle bus.

For my upcoming long stay trip, I was better off with the meet and greet so that will be my first time doing that.

Ilikewinter · 30/07/2022 13:08

Manchester Airport is notorious for dodgy off site car park charlatans......personally I would book directly on the airport website, especially if your landing at 1am you dont want to be messing about with shuttle busses.

TomAllenWife · 30/07/2022 13:09

OP if you're back at 1am I would definitely go for meet & greet
Or a close self park

AnyFucker · 30/07/2022 13:11

T1/T3 multi storey is 5 mins walk to those terminals and about 15 mins to T2.

We always use that one. .Very easy and usually the cheapest.

Woolandwonder · 30/07/2022 13:16

I parked in T3 multistory recently and it was really good only a couple of minutes walk away from terminals. Cost around £100 for a week.

Thanks everyone for the responses, really helpful Smile
