France

DD is going to France on Monday and although she's fully vaxxed her app hasn't got her 2nd Jan on.

I've spent all day trying to get it updated and no one can help.

Does anyone know current requirements for France? Am I right that's it's just a negative LFT? She's 17 and going with her friends.

Thank you

I had an issue with my covid passport having my maiden name.

My gp surgery updated something their end and it refreshes the app a day later. Have you rung the GP?

People I've heard from going to France lately have not even been asked for proof so don't panic.

If she's going on the Eurostar they check your vax certificate before passport control.

From 1st August (Monday) there are no vaccination/testing requirements when entering France. Just seen that on the Eurostar site.

The bit of the site which details the COVID entry requirements still hasn’t been updated yet (neither has the UK.Gov website), but thanks to you and your post, I saw the article in the Eurostar travel news section. I’ve already bought my LFTs unfortunately, but It’s one less thing to worry about.

Have a good trip! Hopefully this change will help a little with the current travel delays some people are experiencing. Not referring to Eurostar there, just in general.
