Do all American Airlines aircrafts have individual TV screens in Economy class?

Trying to book our flight to the US and we have the option of travelling out from Stansted which is an hour away or Heathrow which is an hour and a half on a good day. However, the aircraft flying from Stansted is the 763 while the one from Hrathrow is the 777. The dc want to know if they will have individual tv screens, can't find this information anywhere, does anyone know?

I am pretty sure they all do. You could call them to check.

From London airports I would guess yes but to be sure you'd need to call the airline direct. Am in process of booking flights from NZ home, looked at Korean Airlines and they don't have inflight entertainment from Auckland to Korea AT ALL except first class but they do from Korea to London. Not worth chancing with children unless you are prepared and armed with mini dvd players, game boys (or whatever they're called now etc...)

oh, don't know anything about a 763 but check the flying time too, there can be an hour and half difference in flying time from here to HOng Kong depending on which plane you are on - travel agent yesterday told me it wasn't much and looked at me like I had a problem when I replied and hour and half is alot when travelling alone with a 3 and 8 year old.

I should add I'd asked him to check all flight options for 2 days with the plane types and flight times

Think American used Stansted these days so was wondering if you were thinking of using them.

Contac the airline direct by all means but
what you want to look at as well is www.seatguru.com. This has all the different types of aircraft the airline uses along with the facilities on board.

The 777 is a more modern plane than the 767/763.

Thanks Attila and Sibble, I checked the seatguru site and it is really great. I have checked it for other airlines as well and BMI is not bad too. I am now thinking of going to Chicago instead of New York as I can guarantee getting a VA flight or BMI for a reasonable price, Yet to discuss it with the dc but I might just call up the US thread for some ideas????
