Has anyone been to either Dalaman area or Corfu in October? What's the weather like?

Anyone been to Sarigerme?

We have been to Corfu at the end of September. The second time we went we had quite a lot of rain. Corfu is one of the greenest of the Greek islands because it gets more rain. For weather Turkey is a better bet.

The area around Dalaman is still pleasantly warm in October (maybe mid 20s), but it can be rainy with thunderstorms.

Was there plenty to do in Sarigerme?

I've been to both Dalyan and Fethiye at the end of October and had lovely weather (mid - high 20s).

What did you think of the Hilton?

I've staying Sarigerme a couple of times, we really like it.
It's quite a small town very friendly with some nice restaurants.
There is a tour operator called basket travel in the town, we used them to do lots of excursions they were a good price and very knowledgeable and friendly.
We haven't stayed in October but I have read you will need heated pools at that time of year so we are going to a hotel in Fethiye with a heated pool.

Greek islands every time. Theyre just much prettier and atmospheric. There are so many to choose from but Corfu is my least favourite: have you looked at Paxos (next to Corfu)?
