3 month old sleeping too much?

We have been on holiday since Friday in Portugal with my 3 month old. He’s usually in a pretty good eat play sleep routine with 3/4 naps a day and eating every 3/4 hours but it’s gone out of the window a bit since we got here.

I’ve tried to be relaxed on routine to make sure he’s eating enough to stay hydrated (he’s exclusively breastfeeding) and so we have some flexibility on going out when we can. Nights have been OK but his day time seems completely out of sync. It’s hot here (33/34 degrees) but we have air con in the villa so it’s cool inside, and if he’s outside at all it’s in the shade - but he has completely gone off his daytime routine and seems to just want to sleep all the time. He usually has an hour and a half ish wake windows but he’s been having short naps today and giving tired cues 20 mins - half hour after waking. I’m not sure if it’s just the heat and I don’t want to ignore his signals if he’s tired so I’ve just been putting him down when he starts yawning / sucking his fingers but he then just does another 20-30 minute nap and seems super sleepy again when he’s next up.

I’m just wondering if this is normal considering the heat outside and if I should just continue to roll with it and follow his lead or whether I should be worried / trying to get back to more of a routine?
