I'm due to go to USA next week ( Thursday) but have a layover in Canada ( flying Canada airlines). As a full time carer I've not been away for 5 years and have saved hard.
My passport finally came through after 12 weeks and I then applied for my ESTA for USA and my eTA visa for Canada.
My eTA should have been $7 but after filling out online the eTA form £141.20 came out of my bank 
and all I got was a 'payment' screen but no email to confirm ( this was Friday).
The site was just the same as the Gov.uk site but it seems like this has gone to a 3rd party.
I'm getting really scared now that the visa either won't come at all or will be too late for my holidays.
Do the wise MNers know if I can reapply in case the 'agent' has scammed me or will Canadian visa stop me travelling if I've applied twice?
Sorry for long post but I'm really stressed about this now and don't know what to do. The Canadian embassy are not answering and I can't check online because I haven't got email code that the should have sent
