Fuerteventura covid entry requirements

Hi

Has anyone been to Fuertaventura recently? I know their requirements are Spain's, but did they physically check your NHS covid passes on arrival?

My DS has only had 1 vaccine so far. I'll be getting him a PCR of course but I just wondered if there are physical checks on these. I went away earlier on in the year to an African country and there were zero checks after their very stringent guidelines on various websites.
Does anyone have any recent experience of arriving in Fuertaventura and this please?

We went about 8 weeks ago and had covid passes checked before boarding the flight and upon arrival in Fuerteventura. (they also strictly enforced masks on buses, including the transfers to the hotel)

I'm that's good to know thankyou!

Don't they only need an LFT rather than a PCR?

This is what I'm confused about too. It says 72 hours PCR or 24 hours antigen. But presumably that means a travel antigen rather than just any old home one? Otherwise it could be anyone's test couldn't it?

It will be a paid for private antigen test. Its cheaper than a PCR

In case this affects anyone- after all of the stress they had no one checking health passes or recent PCRs on arrival at all!

We got back last week and no one checked any of our covid status. Like you one of our dc had only had 1 vaccine so we got him a fit to fly antigen test the day before for £25. Masks were required for the flight but otherwise nowhere else. All very relaxed but I wouldn't risk not complying and get the antigen test for your dc

Oh sorry just seen you've been and come back - glad it was equally easy for you (bloody hot though wasn't it!!)
