Any recommendations for me and 11 year old son? Preferably with a pool. Bit nervous looking at reviews

Holgates. Silverdale.
bit out of the way but lovely and really nice pool.

Hope you get somewhere, I imagine everywhere will be chocca by now.

White cross bay

Stanwix,silloth caravan park just outside lakes near sea. Got indoor and outdoor pool. Loads of children to do, kids club,bowling,mini golf, various activites in holidays. We go every couple of year, caravans are spotless. But it is about 40min drive from keswick etc

Thankyou everyone - I wanted White Cross Bay but the reviews are shocking. I'll check them all out now.

We go to Fallbarrow every year and absolutely love it... 5th time booked for October. Lodges are always immaculate, site is beautiful and you're within walking distance of Bowness (literally 2 mins), Windermere, Orrest head etc. It does get negative reviews but they seem to be from the lower end caravans.

We just got back from a Landal one in Yorkshire and would never ever use them again. Took us 4 lodges to find one that wasn't damaged or riddled with ants.
