Amalfi coast in Easter

Hi, thinking of going to Amalfi coast in Easter next year. Is it a good time to visit. Where shall we base ourselves.? Flying from London 2 adults and 2 teens

Perfect time of year to visit. Beautiful weather.

It is a lovely time to go. We stayed in Sorrento and it wasn't too touristy at that time of year.

We did day trips on the train to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum, and also did some boat trips too so lots of options.

If you're planning to visit Pompeii it's a great time of year to visit as it's all open air, so any hotter would be unbearable but it's still warm enough to feel like you're on holiday!

We did the same as TeaAndTrifle. Very easy to get around on the Circumvesuviana suburban train, lovely weather and not too crowded. My teens loved Naples, we all enjoyed Pompeii/ Herculaneum and Capri is lovely too. There’s loads of good value accommodation in Sorrento at that time as it’s a summer town. A brilliant holiday with older kids!
