Proof of vaccination has married name and not maiden like in my passport

Will be travelling to Spain in a few weeks and I will need to provide proof of Covid vaccines. This will have my married name, however my passport and flight details are in my maiden name. Is this going to cause issues?
Has anyone encountered this before and what happened? Thanks in advance!

I've been on Holiday to Portugal, Croatia and Spain within the last few months and not a single person has checked our covid vaccination status or the locator form.

Yes - you need to visit your GP and ask them to update your name to match your passport (you will probably need ID). This took about 5 days to take effect and it updates the app so the vaccination proof will match your passport.

Just take your marriage certificate with you

I went to Spain and my passport is in my maiden name and my covid pass in married name (though I'm now divorced). Nobody batted an eyelid, I did take my decree absolute but nobody asked to look at it 🤷‍♀️

I went to France in a similar situation. Took my marriage certificate just in cases but they didn't even notice.

if you search prior posts you'll see I raised the same question in April...the night before the flight.

Virgin atlantic were very adamant that I would need to have the covid pass match my passport name as they required an authorisation process before I could check in. That was to the USA though so I dont know if the same rule still applies now or if the same rule applies for other countries. I had responses at the time that BA weren't as strict.

The solution was to rush to the gp and ask them to change my name to match my covid pass and then make sure to ask that they update both data bases - apparently there's a local and national NHS system or something like that.

Once that had happened it took about 3 hours for the nhs systems to update and show on my nhs app so I could download a new covid pass

Thank you ladies. I am flying with Jet2. I hope they aren't too strict.

It's not the airline that checks; it's border control when you land that may check your passes/other info

We went to Lanzarote and they only checked a cross section of passengers rather than everyone's.

I’ve just been taking my marriage certificate, no ones ever asked but I’d rather have it with just in case!
