Apple air tags

I’ve bought some air tags - is there anything I need to do other than set them up on “find my iPhone”? Any tips for using them?

Sorry, should say I’ve bought them to put in my checked luggage!

I have one in my luggage out in south east Asia at the moment. I've enjoyed watching where my case has been while we've done a multi centre holiday.
It's incredibly easy to use with an iPhone or ipad

They are brilliant things, well worth the money.....even tell you when the battery is running low.

pop it somewhere inside your suitcase and then just track
they do provide peace of mind for luggage tracking, and if the worst does happen at least you know where your case is
