Partly retired and looking for some UK hotels( or abroad for that matter). I need a search engine that will let me search anywhere at anytime so I can book some bargains. Could me next weekend or next year. All the sirltes I've looked at seem to want to know when and where your going.

Excuse the typos.

Well yes, that would be a great thing wouldn't it. But then the cheap breaks would get bought up.

Go midweek, go to somewhere that's not obviously popular, go outside of school holidays etc.

Imtoooldforallthis · 23/07/2022 16:50

I can do all that but it still doesn't help. There is an app I use for flights and you can look anywhere for anytime so you can find cheap flights to lots of different places. I'm looking for something similar for hotels.

Not sure it exists

By using the criteria above this site brings up plenty of deals though. Just put "England" or whatever in the search box

Just put in England on Booking.com, search by price Low - High and screen out anything you don't want using filters.

rookiemere · 23/07/2022 16:56

Oh sorry you do need dates though.

Exactly my point.

Google hotels will let you do this, it shows you the price for each date and you can just click through the months.

Imtoooldforallthis · 23/07/2022 17:26

But you have to choose a hotel to be able to do this.

If this exists, I want to know. Just had to book a family room in a premier Inn at any time during the next five weeks for anything from 1-3 nights. It just takes forever clicking through each combination to see what's there. Tell me what's there and I'll pick one?

Exactly and you know where you want to go. I want to see what's available anywhere in the next 12 months sorted by cheapest first, maybe filtered my reviews etc.

We use secret escapes and travel zoo. You can search by area or country and they show offers currently available. Then check them on Google to see their reviews.

We know the hotel we are looking for and tend to snap it up on offer as it's two thirds cheaper a night and includes an evening meal

Not sure if this works or helps but you don't have to put in dates

Imtoooldforallthis · 23/07/2022 17:51

Thanks I'll have a look.

Okay so I think secret escapes is what I'm looking for. Brilliant, now does anyone want to know the app for cheap flights?

Doidontimmm · 23/07/2022 17:56

Yes please re flights.

gogohmm · 23/07/2022 18:01

If you fancy the south of france, Cannes/Antibes area, just found several bargains in September close to the beach, around £50 a night

Imtoooldforallthis · 23/07/2022 18:04

Okay the app is kiwi flights, you can specify flights to anywhere for any length of stay for anytime, a bit hard to explain and I can't attach a screen shot on my phone. I just use it to find the flights and then book through the airline. Just remember to sort by cheapest. Let me know how you get on. Cheapest flight for me from Leeds for the next 10 months are Dublin £15, palma £25, krakow £27, all different dates and lengths of stay.

Download the Lucky Trip app. It does what you’re asking or you can specify countries and dates.

Sky scanner is the best for cheap flights imo
