Good travel insurance recommendations

Hi
So I currently have an annual policy with Staysure, due to renew in September. At the time of taking it out Covid cancellations seemed to be the main worry and they seemed good for that.

We have a number of trips abroad between now and end of year ( DS doing exams earlier in the year so all back ended) and I suppose the biggest concern for me now is around flights being cancelled and potentially stranded somewhere.

Anyone got recommendations for what companies offer decent cover in those circumstances? It looks like I could cover it on Staysure with a significant uplift to premium, but interested in any other options.

Some aren't covering industrial action at all (as said the call centre operative when I enquired with InsureWith, as they're not, and you should be seeking refund/alternative/extra accommodation from the airline)

Avanti do have cancellation cover, but the quote was quite a bit higher than InsureWith (I won't give prices, as one of our household has a significant medical history, so we're always expensive!)

I use a different company each time I buy insurance. Use a comparison site then read the details of the best value ones for your needs. There isn’t really a point in making recommendations as we all have different circumstances and requirements.
