I'm looking to do a short city break in Northern Europe in the autumn. I have been to Paris, Lille, Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam and Utrecht. Any other recommendations which are easy to get to by train?

You've already done most of the obvious ones - except for Strasbourg, which I would recommend.

Ghent or Antwerp? Both amazing places. Ghent is especially lovely. I'm off on Eurostar to Rotterdam and The Hague in early September, so looking forward to that. Have a great time whatever you decide 🙂

Thanks both. I'll look at Ghent. OH and I were thinking of going to the Christmas Market in Strasbourg in December.

Rotterdam?

One change at Brussels Midi then onto Cologne / Düsseldorf?

Rouen? Reims?

Cologne is not nice, I don't recommend. How about taking an second train and going down to Nice?
