Dublin - Cash or card?

Visiting Dublin for the weekend. I can use my card abroad with no fees and have a bit (about €50) left from a previous trip. But do I really need to take cash with me? Or is almost everywhere card now? Thanks

Hi OP, I'm from Dublin but live in UK. Pretty much everywhere in RoI takes card and it's no bother using a UK visa/master debit card. Hope the helps.

card will be fine, I went over numerous times for work and never took Euros with me.
