Planning a New year's Eve break 2023 in Dubai then fancy a beach resort for the first week of Jan 2024 .
We are a family of 4 with DC 15 & 21( I know not a DC anymore ) Has anyone been to Zanzibar ?
We loved Mauritius and the Maldives and I'm tempted to return but would like to go somewhere new . Any thoughts or advice ? Thank you

I've been to Zanzibar but didn't really travel around. The infrastructure is much poorer than Mauritius/Maldives which I've also been to. In your shoes I would try a different Maldives island.

Have you been to the Seychelles....that is also on my list as a possible destination?

we went for a few days at the end of a safari hotel was incredible as was the snorkelling. We didn’t travel around very much either but the contrast between the hotel and the poverty of the surrounding area was very noticeable.
